The company Kautz Zahnradfabrik manufactures gears as well as gearings and profiles of all kinds. Primarily individual parts and small series according to drawings or samples. Contract gearing and complete manufacturing.

Kautz Zahnradfabrik was founded by Hugo Kautz as a machine factory in Wuppertal-Unterbarmen. For about 80 years, the company has specialized in the production of gears. Until 1998, the company was owned by the family, led for over 45 years by Friedrich Dicke – the great-grandson of the company founder. In 1998, Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Gräfe took over the company as part of a generational change. Today, Kautz Zahnradfabrik produces gear components such as gears, gear couplings, and drive shafts of all kinds with approximately 20 employees on 1000 m². In recent years, significant investments have been made in the machinery, so Kautz Zahnradfabrik now has a very modern machine park.

Gears up to ø 1000, shafts up to ø 600 x 2100mm or ø 168 x 6000mm (also conical/bulbous gearing), internal gearing, SAE gearings.
Key shafts milled up to ø 600 x 2100mm or ø 168 x 6000mm, ground up to ø 185 x 1600mm, also many special profiles, key hubs up to 1000 mm in length.
